Pastor Jason Washington was our first featured worship leader at the Common Narrative, in the Twentieth Century Club in Pittsburgh. In 2015, Pastor Washington released Sounds of Heaven EP and currently serves at Macedonia Church of Pittsburgh as their worship pastor. We are honored and excited to have him lead us in worship and share his heart for music and the gospel.
Our guest, Wendell Kimbrough, is a singer/songwriter, worship leader, and award winning hymn writer, serving as Artist-in-Residence at Church of the Apostles in Fairhope, Alabama. Wendell’s music is marked by strong singable melodies, steeped in the Americana sounds of folk, gospel, and soul. His most recent record, Psalms We Sing Together released in Fall 2016 and was an honorable mention for top albums of 2016 by Under the Radar.
